Bank Holiday Britain on Twitter

We’ve got our finger in the twithole - itsbritaininnit is Bank Holiday Britain’s Twitter thing.

itsbritaininnit is the grit and fluff that falls in the cracks between Bank Holiday Britain’s regular picture posts. It’s a space for sporadic notes, observations and questions on topics, themes, events and news which have a Bank Holiday Britain flavour, condensed into the 140 characters or less rule that dictates Twitter’s content.

Step over and follow us. Everyone knows that if you don’t get on the end of Twitter… well, you’ll be a no-one, a nothing. You won’t be in the gang with the hardest kids on the estate. You won’t be in with the in-crowd. Instead, you’ll be outside, in the cold, your face pressed up against the window, looking at all the beauty and glamour and excitement out of reach on the other side of the glass. And nobody wants that, do they? Everybody just wants to fit in, don’t they? The desire to belong can be a very powerful motivator, can’t it?

itsbritaininnit was inspired by the source quote on this posting, which seemed so desperate to be right here, right now that it came in way too fast and way too high, over-shot the runway and crash-landed in tomorrow.

Perhaps one day we’ll be able to mash-up our tweets on a Google map too. Now there’s a thought.
